Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Dupont Boulevard in Georgetown, DE. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient information accuracy.

The role requires phlebotomy certification or training, a high school diploma, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. You will provide excellent patient service and may travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual English and Spanish beneficial.
• Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
