Labcorp in Washington, DC seeks a bilingual English/Spanish Phlebotomist to collect blood samples and provide patient service. Schedule is Monday–Friday 2:00pm–6:30pm with Saturdays as assigned.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy training/certification, and 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. Candidates must pass a color blindness test and be able to travel to additional site if needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Labcorp is seeking a Bilingual English Spanish Phlebotomist to join our team in Washington, DC. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 6:30pm; Saturdays as assigned

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Other Duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirements
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Travel to additional site as needed, reliable transportation

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics **Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
