Job summary

Medix is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our client’s team in Baltimore, MD. You will handle prescription intake and processing, assist patients at checkout, and support inventory control under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include data entry of prescriptions, insurance verification, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy guidelines. Spanish/English bilingual candidates are preferred, with Monday–Friday 8am–5pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions into software, verify insurance, and resolve billing issues.
• Prepare medications and label for pharmacist verification.
• Assist customers at checkout and answer drug-related questions.
• Manage inventory, restock dispensing supplies, and monitor stock levels.
• Maintain a compliant, clean work environment following USP guidelines where applicable.
