RiteChoice Rx in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an enthusiastic and organized pharmacy technician to join our team at a community health center pharmacy. You will help prepare medications, verify prescriptions, and assist patients and providers to ensure quality care.

Bi-lingual Spanish is highly preferred, and certification or registration as a pharmacy technician is valued. We will train you in the 340B program and support your growth within a fast-growing independent pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish preferred; strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification or registration preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy operations and patient interaction is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for patients
• Receive and verify prescriptions
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Assist patients and providers by greeting them in person and by phone
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by monitoring stock and placing orders
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations
• Organize medications and prepare labels for dispensing
