AltaMed Health Services Corporation seeks a Retail Pharmacy Technician in Los Angeles, CA, to assist pharmacists with packaging and clerical tasks under supervision. A California Pharmacy Technician license is required, with 1 year of experience preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish and a valid BLS certification are desirable. The role is full-time and in-person at our Los Angeles location, offering competitive hourly compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• A Pharmacy Technician License through the California State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks within established standards and guidelines.
• Perform clerical functions as part of the pharmacy team.
