A Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and NY licensure are required, with CCC-SLP and NYSED TSHH/TSSLD preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology required.
• Current NY State license in Speech and Language Pathology required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) required.
• NYSED Certification as a TSHH or TSSLD required.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• One year of prior Speech Therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech and language assessment and evaluation to determine student's developmental level and needs.
• Analyses test results and prepares written summaries for regulatory bodies.
• Plans and conducts speech and language interventions aligned with goals.
• Implements testing procedures to monitor progress per regulatory requirements.
• Maintains progress notes and attendance records; reports to parents and team members.
• Develops treatment plans for identified disabilities and uses AAC devices as appropriate.
• Participates in team meetings and case conferences.
