Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric home health services. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in children, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.

Responsibilities include testing, reporting, care planning, and staff education; supervision of fellows is possible for those with 3+ years of experience. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus and Texas licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP Clinical Fellowship completed.
• Active Texas license to practice SLP.
• Experience working with pediatric populations is required.
• Spanish bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities, 2+ visits per week per physician orders.
• Define type/intensity of impairment using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to set and evaluate goals.
• Adapt care plans to meet speech therapy objectives.
• Educate staff, caregivers and patients via training and materials.
• Supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years experience.
