Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy to pediatric patients (0–21) in home settings or day facilities. Role requires completion of CFY (CCC-SLP) and requires Texas licensure, with preference for those who speak Spanish and have home health experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year (CCC-SLP).
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities for ages 0–21, 2+ visits per week per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, and related impairments using appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants with 3+ years of experience.
