Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Texas is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home pediatric services for patients aged 0–21, 2+ times per week per physician orders.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, Texas licensure, and CFY/CCC-SLP completion, with pediatric and home-health experience preferred. Spanish bilingual candidates are highly encouraged. Full-time position with benefits and supervision opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP.
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
