Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide home-based therapy for children up to 21 years old. The role involves delivering skilled services in patients' homes or daytime facilities, with a schedule of 2+ visits per week per physician orders.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in SLP, Texas license, CCC-SLP, pediatric experience, and Spanish bilingual abilities to serve diverse families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairments by selecting and administering testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and advise team in speech therapy modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience.
