Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide pediatric speech therapy in patients’ homes across Texas. The SLP will evaluate, organize, and deliver medically prescribed therapy, directing caregivers in home-based exercises to reinforce progress.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Valid state driver license and CPR certification.
• Pediatric clinical and home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical speech therapy to pediatric patients in home settings.
• Perform evaluations, create and implement therapy plans.
• Train families and caregivers to reinforce progress at home.
• Coordinate care with office staff and other professionals.
• Maintain documentation and progress notes, and monitor patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the care team to adjust treatment as needed.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; participate in QA activities.
