Job summary

Hand In Hand Development, Inc. seeks an NYS Licensed Physical Therapist to deliver in-home Early Intervention services across NYC’s five boroughs. This role requires a Master’s in Physical Therapy, NYS license, and experience with children with developmental delays.

You will collaborate with families to develop IFSP-goal programs, document progress, travel between client sites, and work within a multidisciplinary team. CPR is preferred, bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• Masters in Physical Therapy required.
• NYS Physical Therapist license required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Previous experience with children who have disabilities and families.
• Ability to build rapport with children & families.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services in home settings across NYC five boroughs.
• Foster collaboration across disciplines with a team-centered approach.
• Work with children diagnosed with developmental delays.
• Collaborate with families to create IFSP-based programs and goals.
• Monitor and assess program effectiveness.
• Document and communicate treatment results and progress to relevant parties.
