Job summary

Legacy Community Health in Houston is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant (Pedi) to support patient care in a fast-paced primary care setting. You will assist with exams, prepare treatment rooms, collect specimens, and document in EMR while engaging with patients in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS/CPR Certification required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Experience with electronic medical records encouraged.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to gather medical history and measure vital signs.
• Record medical history and vital statistics in EMR.
• Collect and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Assist physicians during exams and ensure instruments are ready.
• Prepare treatment rooms and restock supplies as needed.
• Conduct phone consultations and document care activities.
