Job summary

My Kids Smile in Reno is seeking a friendly Front Desk / Receptionist for a pediatric dental temporary assignment. You will greet families, manage check-in/out, and coordinate with clinical staff to keep the daily schedule flowing.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in customer service, fluency in English and Spanish, and reliable transportation. This temporary role does not offer standard healthcare or PTO, and starts immediately with the stated end date of September 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience; prior front-office dental/medical setting is a bonus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
• Clear, warm, professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work the full temporary duration through Sept 30, 2026.
• Reliable transportation; may assist at nearby Reno sister locations.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring pre-employment drug screen and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet families and create a welcoming, high-energy check-in area.
• Manage multi-line phone systems, assist questions, check-in/out patients, schedule follow-ups.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to keep daily appointments on track.
• Maintain accurate digital patient records in the practice management system.
