Bone Dry Roofing is seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Payroll Specialist (English/Spanish) to join our HR team for weekly payroll processing across 18 locations in 8 states. The role is full-time and on-site, offering growth and competitive benefits.

You will support field commissions, audits, and HR-related payroll tasks in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in payroll, strong bilingual communication, and experience with ADP/Dayforce/UKG.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process weekly field payroll across all locations.
• Review and maintain timekeeping and attendance records.
• Investigate discrepancies before submission.
• Manage payroll data including deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
• Process new hires, terminations, and status changes promptly.
• Conduct payroll audits for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist managers with time punch reviews and payroll questions.

Job Overview:

Bone Dry Roofing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bilingual Payroll Specialist to join our growing HR team in a full-time, on-site office role. This is an exciting opportunity to help ensure accurate, timely weekly payroll for 18 locations across 8 states. This is a junior-level payroll specialist position and is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build payroll expertise with support and guidance from experienced team members. As one of two team members supporting weekly payroll operations, you will play a key role in processing field commission payroll, maintaining records, and conducting audits. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively in both English and Spanish, and takes pride in delivering accurate payroll support. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process weekly field commission payroll across all company locations
• Collect, review, verify, and maintain employee timekeeping and attendance records
• Verify and investigate discrepancies by identifying missing or inaccurate payroll information before submission
• Maintain accurate payroll data, including pay rates, vacation time, commissions, bonuses, and insurance deductions
• Process new hires, terminations, and employee status changes promptly within the payroll system
• Maintain accurate payroll system configurations and ensure timely, accurate payroll tax filings
• Conduct regular payroll audits to verify accuracy and support compliance
• Train managers on reviewing and editing time punches for their direct reports
• Respond to employee payroll questions, investigate payment issues, and drive discrepancies to resolution
• Respond promptly to employment verification and reference check requests
• Maintain confidential payroll files, personnel records, and documentation
• Prepare and distribute internal management reports using payroll software
• Partner with the HR team on benefits administration, employee records, and third-party audits
• Help maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred)
• 1-2 years of payroll, finance or accounting experience
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required
• Valid driver's license
• Pass a background check and Pre-employment Drug Screen
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Dayforce, UKG, or similar platforms is preferred
• Solid understanding of payroll processes, applicable regulations, and compliance requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to independently manage multiple priorities
• Sound judgment and integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information

Work Environment:

• This position primarily works in an office environment
• Work Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Driving:

• Must possess a valid driver's license or have reliable transportation for the daily commute to the office.
