Job summary

AMPAM Parks Mechanical Inc. is seeking a Payroll Manager in Carson, CA to lead end-to-end payroll for ~1,500 employees. You will ensure compliance with California wage and hour laws, manage deductions and benefits, and drive process improvements within a fast-paced MEP environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 7–10 years of payroll experience, and bilingual Spanish is mandatory. ADP WFN and WFM expertise is essential to manage timekeeping, taxes, and audits effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience managing payroll for large populations across multiple locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; CPA/CPP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for ~1,500 employees using ADP WFN and WFM.</br>Ensure compliance with California labor laws and wage reporting.
• Lead payroll team, mentor staff, and develop SOPs and controls.
• Coordinate with HR, Accounting, and Operations on payroll-related processes and audits.
