Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level customer service to retail and installer customers, greet shoppers, and look up parts with accurate pricing. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The role includes cash handling, returns, exchanges, and processing transactions, plus assisting with stock updates, planograms, and light vehicle services. Occasional deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot).
• Greet retail customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists with professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to store customers calling the store and quoting prices.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stock, and housekeeping tasks.
• Perform in-store services (wipers, batteries, charging system tests, etc.).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
