Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers. This role requires safe driving, cash handling on COD deliveries, and attention to accuracy.

You will use fleet handheld devices, process deliveries, collect signatures, and inspect vehicles daily. Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are encouraged to apply and may assist with merchandising and cashiering as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is desirable.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment is desirable.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely.
• Use delivery handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep vehicles clean.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected money at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate customer needs and problems to store management.
• Report maintenance or damage to vehicle to store manager.
• Clock in/out according to policy and assist with merchandising, stocking, and other duties.
• May assist customers as cashier or with phones during busy periods.
• All other duties as assigned.
