Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Austell, GA to maintain and operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect money on COD deliveries. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and multi-tasking across duties including potentially assisting customers and cashiering.

You will use handheld devices for deliveries, complete daily inspections, and ensure security of vehicles and funds.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standard (14/18-point system).
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries and capture signatures.
• Keep vehicles clean and inspected before operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected while on shift.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special customer needs to store management.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is full and vehicle is secured at day's end.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist customers, act as cashier, and help with merchandising when needed.
