Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Jasper, GA is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers, collecting COD payments and handling returns. You will use fleet handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, log mileage, perform daily vehicle inspections, and keep vehicles clean and secure.

You may also assist customers as a cashier and help with merchandising when needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
• Clean driving record per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use fleet handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and secure; manage keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected.
• Pick up customer returns and fill driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicles are locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist customers as a cashier and help with merchandising or stocking as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
