Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Perry, GA is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers. You will use handheld devices to process deliveries, collect signatures, and perform daily vehicle inspections.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and you may assist with cashier duties, returns, and basic merchandising as needed, while clocking in/out per policy.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using handheld devices, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate customer needs or problems to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is topped off and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist customers as needed, cashier duties, and merchandising tasks when business demands.
• All other duties as assigned.
