Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to customers, and collect payments on COD deliveries. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and you may assist with cashiering and merchandising as needed.

The role requires handling fleet devices, keeping vehicles secure, and performing daily inspections. A valid driver\'s license and clean driving record are essential, with strong customer service skills highly valued.

Qualifications

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
Driving record must meet the standard set in the company\'s 14/18-point record system.
Must possess a legally required state driver\'s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.
Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily vehicle inspections prior to operation.
Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and monies secure at all times.
Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
