Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist responsible for delivering parts and products to professional customers. The role includes handling COD payments, securing assets, and processing returns. Bilingual abilities are encouraged to assist a diverse customer base.

The position requires safe driving, use of handheld devices, and maintaining vehicle readiness. You may assist customers at times with cashiering or merchandising tasks as the business dictates.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards (14/18-point system).
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts (desirable).
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, collect signatures, and update mileage.
• Keep vehicles clean and perform daily inspections before operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies at all times.
• Collect returns and fill out driver return slip.
• Assist customers and handle basic cashiering or merchandising tasks as needed.
