Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers while collecting money on COD deliveries and handling returns. The role values bilingual communication, safe driving, and the ability to manage handheld devices for deliveries and signatures.

The position emphasizes vehicle maintenance, secure handling of keys and payments, and occasional cashier or merchandising duties in a fast-paced setting. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, and conduct vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, handheld devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel is topped off and vehicles are secured after daily operations.
• Clock in/out per policy.
• Handle additional duties including customer service, stock, merchandising, and errands.
• May assist customers as cashier and help with merchandising when needed.
