Job summary

Alma Family Services is looking for a peer support provider in Huntington Park, CA, to assist families engaged in our program. Responsibilities include helping parents navigate challenges and improving engagement with the staff.

The ideal candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED and experience as a caregiver, as well as being bilingual in English and Spanish. Compensation ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver of a child with complex needs.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid CA driver’s license.
• Able to work evening and/or weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to parents to engage with the program.
• Assist families with children at high risk of being placed out of home.
• Role model new strategies for parents and caregivers.
