Job summary

Sunrise Children’s Foundation in Las Vegas, NV seeks Home Visiting Parent Educators to support families with preschool children (ages 3–5) under the HIPPY framework or similar curricula. You will partner with low‑income families, delivering education and resources to empower parents as their child’s first and most important teacher.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, a high school diploma or CDA, and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Home-Based Child Development Associate (CDA) or comparable credential, or coursework as part of a degree.
• Preferred: Associate degree or higher in Social Work, Family Services, Counseling, or related field.
• 1–2 years of case management experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking and writing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruits families in need of home-based early childhood services within defined areas.
• Determines eligibility of children based on program guidelines.
• Enrolls children and families and maintains a waiting list for attrition.
• Maintains funded enrollment levels and analyzes enrollment data.
• Plans and facilitates parent orientations to the program.
