The position emphasizes collaboration with ML staff, adherence to FERPA, and active family engagement. Experience with WIDA and dual-language settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required for both verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse families.
• Commitment to confidentiality under FERPA and district policies.
• Ability to organize materials, manage records, and support classroom instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-classroom instructional support to multilingual learners.
• Support small-group and one-on-one instruction.
• Serve as interpreter/translator for parent-teacher conferences and meetings.
• Translate newsletters and enrollment materials between English and the target language.
• Assist with WIDA/ELD-related testing and assessments.
• Engage families and help navigate school resources and systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information.
• Collaborate with ML staff to support ILPs and documentation.
