Job summary

KIPP Indy Public Schools in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Family & Community Engagement Manager (Bilingual - Spanish) for a full-time, start-immediate role. You will lead community coordination and family engagement, coordinating MB EZ meetings, and building strong ties with families and partners to support student success.

You will develop engagement initiatives, manage volunteers, and collaborate with school teams to foster an inclusive, supportive environment that aligns with our mission

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and oral).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in education or related fields.
• Deep belief in being part of and helping lead a multicultural, anti-racist organization.
• Team player capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
• Highly organized, resourceful, and accountable, with strong attention to follow through.
• Proactive and creative problem-solver; ability to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in MB Ez partner meetings and KIPP Indy Community Council meetings.
• Support families in building social capital and locating resources.
• Assist community partners in resolving service delivery and coordination issues.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain a schedule of programs and services in the school.
• Identify agencies with resources to boost academic success and social-emotional learning.
• Manage volunteers, create opportunities, track records, and recognize service.
• Serve as liaison to the community and attend external meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with school social workers to refer families to services.
• Collect program data from providers and partners.
