Job summary

McHenry Community Consolidated School District 15 announces a Bilingual Paraprofessional position at McHenry Middle School. Under the Building Principal's supervision, you will support students with diverse needs and help maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

The role requires a current Paraprofessional License (or 60 college credits/Work Keys) and the ability to communicate clearly with students, families and staff. CPI training is preferred or can be provided.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Paraprofessional License; 60 college credit hours or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional License.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Ability to promote a safe environment including physical intervention as needed according to protocol.
• Candidates with CPI training preferred or willing to train.
• Ability to work as a cooperating member of a team and effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents and administration; Positive attitude and dependability a must.

Minimum Qualifications/Required Skills

Pay And Benefits

• $17.50/hour starting plus benefits. The District can provide additional credit to candidates who have prior work experience.
