Responsibilities include handling language surveys, parental notifications, and maintaining student records while ensuring equitable educational opportunities within a respectful, harassment-free environment.

Formación

• Minimum of 48 undergraduate credits or higher.
• Passage of ParaPro or WorkKeys assessment (464) or equivalent.
• Preferred: Translation/Interpreter Certification and language proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Assist parents in enrollment and ensure proper forms are completed.
• Complete and file Home Language Survey and ESL/paraeducation materials as required.
• Distribute Parental Notification letters and obtain principal's signature on program cards.
• Attach LAU stickers and secure signature on student records.
• Maintain complete cumulative records for transfers, including ESL, IDEA, and progress charts.
• Serve as interpreter when needed.
• Ensure equal educational opportunity and a harassment-free environment.
• Establish cooperative relationships with staff, students, families and visitors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by administrator.
