Job summary

Kennewick School District is seeking a Para/ECEAP/Bilingual Preferred role in the ECEAP program in Kennewick, WA. The position offers 8 hours per day for 180 days per year, with a wage range of $21.40–$25.88 per hour and an additional $0.60/hour for higher college-level credits.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, with options for 30 college credits in Social Work or related fields.

Qualifications

• Requires AA degree or higher in ECE OR related field with alternate credit options.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid WA driver’s license.
• Must meet ECEAP standards and deadlines; ability to attend trainings.
• All candidates must submit unofficial transcripts; official transcripts required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement developmentally appropriate activities for preschool children and visiting families.
• Set goals with parents based on children’s strengths and needs.
• Make home visits when needed to support families and child development.
• Maintain program records, lesson plans, home visits, assessments, and referrals.
• Communicate regularly with ECEAP staff to ensure comprehensive services.
