Job summary

Cooler Master USA is seeking a Packaging Engineer to develop and optimize packaging solutions that meet customer requirements while protecting products and reducing cost. This role involves packaging design, validation, cost analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support new product development and production.

The position requires international travel to support packaging development and manufacturing at overseas facilities, including trips to China.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging structure design (paper-based packaging experience preferred).
• Proficient in Creo, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
• Basic knowledge of packaging testing methods and standards.
• Familiar with new product introduction (NPI) processes.
• Understanding of various packaging materials and manufacturing processes.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English is must (reading, writing, and speaking).
• U.S. work experience preferred.
• Starting with 15 paid vacation days in the first year.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial packaging design evaluation, cost analysis, and container loading optimization.
• Design packaging solutions based on customer requirements and create 2D/3D drawings.
• Conduct packaging trials, sample builds, and validation testing.
• Support pilot production and analyze/resolve issues related to new packaging materials and designs.
• Perform packaging reliability testing and verification.
• Optimize existing packaging solutions to improve performance and reduce cost.
• Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and production issues.
• Travel to China to support packaging validation, production, and supplier coordination
