Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Outreach Counselor to support the Tarrant County area and surrounding counties. You will assist clients in person and by phone with enrollment and eligibility for Texas Health and Social Services Programs, using deep knowledge of requirements and policies.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with community organizations and stakeholders to expand Maximus’ community presence. Spanish language is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of enrollment requirements, program information, and policies.
• Ability to identify and build relationships with community, state, and faith-based organizations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer services via telephone and in person to clients and community members.
• Explain selection, enrollment, and eligibility requirements for Texas Health and Social Services Programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to enhance program presence.
