Qualifications
Experience in optical preferred but willing to train if eager to learn.
ABO and NCLE certifications are a plus, required within 6 months of hire.
Licensed Dispensing Optician (LDO) is a plus.
Responsibilities
Assist patients in selecting and ordering eyewear.
Interpret prescriptions and consult with physicians as needed.
Perform quality inspections on lenses and frames.
Maintain equipment and inventory of supplies.
Skills
Bilingual in Spanish
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel
Education
High school diploma or GED
