Job summary

MasterCorp, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead cleaning operations for commercial properties in Tucson. You will ensure quality, timeliness, and adherence to the company’s mission while supervising staff and coordinating payroll-related tasks.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent experience, strong work ethic, and a passion for cleanliness, with the ability to hire, train, and manage personnel and schedules, including evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of janitorial experience is a plus.
• Passion for cleanliness and strong work ethic.
• Ability to learn and adapt behavior; willingness to work irregular hours.
• Experience hiring and training personnel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of excellence in service delivery.
• Manage flexible schedule including evenings.
• Hire and train all personnel.
• Oversee account operations: quality control, labor, payroll data.
• Oversee timesheets, supplies, inventory, and payroll-related tasks.
• Perform HR duties: applications, hiring compliance, injury reporting.
• Assist Branch Manager with budgets and labor reports.
• Provide supplies and tools for each site.
• Support management with tag jobs.
• Inspect buildings after normal business hours.
• Ensure floor care completion and assist floor teams.

The Operations Manager is responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of commercial properties. An Operations Manager must follow company mission statement and values.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain a high standard of excellence


• Flexible schedule – some days and some evening shifts


• Responsible for hiring and training all personnel


• Oversee operations of accounts, i.e. quality control, labor pool, and managing employees to ensure they are following contractual obligations


• Responsible for overseeing and managing time sheet input, supply management, inventory and distribution of payroll as required assessment for assigned accounts


• Responsible for HR duties, including application distribution, hiring compliance, injury reporting


• Assist Branch Manager in maintaining/managing budgets for each building i.e., providing all necessary labor reports and any other pertinent data as it relates to payroll


• Assist in providing necessary supplies and tools for each job site i.e. inventories, start up, miscellaneous supplies/equipment


• Assist Management in generating/completing tag jobs


• Conduct building inspection after normal business hours


• Responsible for ensuring completion of floor care and/or assisting floor technicians in completion of contractual obligations

Experience and Education Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a field directly related to the position or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Five (5) years of Janitorial experience is a plus

The Operations Manager is not limited to the above-mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Commercial Services Management.

Physical Requirements:

This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions.
