Job summary

Paradigm is seeking a full-time, 0.75–1.0 FTE Bilingual Field Nurse Case Manager to cover the Austin/San Antonio, TX area. The role requires travel (80% locally) and a TX RN license. Base salaries vary by FTE: 69,900–74,250 at 0.75 FTE and 89,000–95,000 at 1.0 FTE. Hybrid work arrangement with local travel eligibility.

Ideal candidates will be bilingual, possess strong case management experience, and be willing to travel to doctor’s offices, hospitals, and other sites within TX.

Qualifications

• RN license in TX (required)
• Experience in case management of workers' comp or health care cases preferred
• Certifications such as CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC preferred; within two years of hire

Responsibilities

• Manage medical case management for work-related injuries including assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers, medical providers, attorneys, employers, and employees; report progress to employer/ carriers.
• Travel locally (Austin/San Antonio area) up to 80% for in-person patient appointments; home/field-based visits as needed.

Paradigm is looking for a full-time, 0.75 - 1.0 FTE (30-40 hours per week), benefited Bilingual Field Nurse Case Manager to cover the Austin / San Antonio, TX, area. This is a salaried position: base salary range at 0.75 FTE is $69,900 - $74,250. At 1.0 FTE, base salary range is from $89,000 - $95,000 annually.

A Bilingual Field Nurse Case Manager role is a hybrid position. The candidate must be located in the Austin / San Antonio, TX, area due to regular local travel (80% of the time) for in-person patient appointments. You must be willing to travel and have a compact RN license in the state of TX.

A Field Case Manager role is a home / field based position with travel, up to 2 hours one-way (4 hours round trip per appointment). These appointments would be to doctors’ offices, hospitals, and various other locations. There may be multiple appointments in 1 day.

This individual is responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The Case Manager works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, and closely monitors the progress of the injured worker and reports results back to the employer and insurance carriers.

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in TX
• Experience in case management of workers comp cases, preferred
• Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred. REQUIRED within two years of the date of hire
• Skills required for success: organization and timeline adherence skills, PC and technology skills, communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
• Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
• Skilled at patient education
• Valid Driver’s License, and good driving history
