You will weigh and grade incoming scrap, operate scales for in-bound/out-bound loads, and direct drivers to unloading areas. You’ll handle payments, assist customers, and manage documentation, working Monday through Saturday in varying weather.

The role requires safety-minded, bilingual (English/Spanish) communication and basic office tasks, with work performed both indoors and outdoors on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating truck scales preferred in scrap/metals.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale to weigh inbound and outbound trucks.
• Review, inspect, and document inbound loads.
• Direct drivers to proper yard locations for loading/unloading.
• Complete required documentation for vehicles and loads.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions; assist customers.
