This salaried position emphasizes stability over commission while supporting borrowers with prequalification, pre-approvals, and pipeline execution.

The LP2 will collaborate closely with the Loan Officer, processors, underwriters, and referral partners to ensure timely closings and exceptional borrower

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license required.
• 5+ years mortgage loan officer assistant, processing, or origination experience.
• Experience with DU/DO, LP, and investor guidelines.
• Experience with major LOS platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Prequalify borrowers and engage referral partners to assess readiness.
• Pre-Approve qualified borrowers and prepare payment/scenario requests.
• Manage pipeline: rate lock, disclosures, updates, and funding calls to ensure on-time closings.
• Maintain professionalism and act as a concierge between borrowers and partners.
