Job summary

West Capital Lending seeks a Loan Partner 2 (LP2) Pre-Approval Specialist to manage borrower pre-qualification, pre-approvals, and pipeline execution for a high-performing mortgage team.

This role collaborates with the Loan Officer, processors, and underwriters to ensure accurate disclosures and timely closings. Requires 3–5 years in the mortgage broker channel and an active Texas NMLS license; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years mortgage broker channel experience
• Active NMLS license required with a Texas license
• Familiarity with broker workflows and wholesale lenders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with loan software such as Arive is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prequalify borrowers and assist referral partners when Loan Officer is unavailable
• Pre-approve qualified borrowers and prepare payment/scenario requests
• Manage pipeline: disclosures, funding calls, rate-locks and updates
• Attend pipeline meetings and provide borrower and Realtor updates
• Ensure 95%+ of loans close on time; resolve loan issues prior to LO escalation
