Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a MIG Welding Trainer (Bilingual) to train entry-level academy students in MIG welding on site five days a week.

You will collaborate with HR and safety teams, delivering blended learning using books, videos, VR and hands-on coaching, while enforcing safety standards. Fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication, and welding knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Safety and HR training practices.
• Experience in Training, Teaching or Facilitating.
• Knowledge of Welding Technology and Blueprint reading.
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Previous weld, electrical and assembly background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR and safety teams to identify improvements and train employees.
• Understand fundamentals of welding technology and blueprint reading.
• Deliver blended classroom and technology-based training.
• Instruct on basic math, tape measure reading, electrical concepts and blueprint reading.
• Assist with on-the-job training and track trainer/trainee interactions.
• Monitor procedures for safety and training-related issues.
• Conduct new hire safety training.
