Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a MIG Welding Trainer (Bilingual) to educate entry-level academy students in Milwaukee, WI. This direct-hire, on-site role requires fluent English and Spanish and involves blending classroom instruction with hands-on training.

You will work with HR and safety teams to reinforce safety standards, teach welding fundamentals and blueprint reading, and coordinate trainer/trainee interactions. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Welding Technology and Blueprint reading.
• Experience in Training, Teaching or Facilitating.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to commute.
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
• Knowledge of Safety and HR training practices.

Responsibilities

• Work with HR & safety team to address issues and safety awareness.
• Understand fundamentals of welding technology and blueprint reading.
• Training will blend traditional classroom instruction with advanced technology.
• Instruct in basic math, tape measure reading, basic electrical and blueprint reading using books, videos, online manuals, VR and testing.
• Assist with on-the-job training, coordinating trainer/trainee interaction and tracking.
• Monitor safety and training-related procedures and improvements.
• Conduct new hire safety training.

Responsibilities

• Work with HR & safety team that aids in the identification and resolution of issues or areas of improvement, training of employees, and overall awareness of everyday safety
• Understand Fundamentals of Welding Technology and Blueprint reading
• Training will be conducted in a learning environment that blends traditional classroom instruction and advance technology training.
• Classroom instruction of technical skills to be proficient in Basic Math, Tape Measure reading, basic Electrical, basic Blueprint reading, through Books, Videos, online manuals, virtual reality training and testing.
• Assist with on-the-job training in organizing procedures, coordinating trainer/trainee interaction and tracking
• Monitor working procedures for safety and training related issues and improvements
• New hire Safety Training
