Job summary

Jobtailor in Missouri is seeking a licensed mental health clinician to provide outpatient psychotherapy, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans. Job description

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and establish appropriate diagnoses
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based outpatient psychotherapy
• Complete progress notes, treatment plan reviews, and other required clinical documentation
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with clinic and payer requirements
• Maintain 25 completed client sessions per week for full-time clinicians
• Collaborate with families, schools, medical providers, and other members of clients' care teams when appropriate
• Participate in team meetings, clinical consultation, training, and supervision
• Provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centered care
• Build a caseload aligned with clinical interests
• Develop clinical specialties, groups, and programs
• Focus on client care with reduced administrative burden

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
• Active or eligible Illinois clinical/provisional license, including LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LPC, or LSW
• Knowledge of treatment planning and clinical documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain appropriate professional and ethical boundaries
• Ability to complete clinical documentation within required timeframes
• Comfortable working with diverse and multicultural populations
• Ability to use an electronic health record (EHR) system
• Spanish-speaking/bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred
• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families preferred
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and/or substance use preferred
• Experience with trauma-informed and evidence-based treatment approaches preferred
• Outpatient or community mental health experience preferred
• Experience working with insurance-based services or willingness to become credentialed preferred
• Availability to work 2 evenings a week or a Saturday
