Job summary

Lutheran Community Services Northwest in Oregon is seeking a qualified mental health professional to support the Latinx Outreach Program. You will conduct screenings, diagnose conditions, and develop client-centered treatment plans with a focus on trauma-informed care.

Provide culturally sensitive counseling, apply evidence-based methods, and collaborate with families, partners, and the Mental Health Management team to maintain program effectiveness and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or closely related field.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Credible is required.
• Knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules principles is required.
• Experience in data collection, analytics and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and adherence to HIPM standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments for the Latinx Outreach Program.
• Diagnose mental health conditions based on client reports using DSM format.
• Develop treatment plans with client involvement and strength-based approaches.
• Provide culturally appropriate, trauma-informed counseling to individuals, families and groups.
• Apply evidence-based practices in treatment and collaborate with supports.
• Represent the agency in the community and liaise with partners.
