Job summary

American Airlines Credit Union seeks a bilingual branch associate to open accounts, process deposits, and handle member inquiries in person at a Newark area branch.

This in-office role requires cash handling, sales, and strong customer service skills, with five days on-site and occasional Saturday rotation. You will research member inquiries, ensure confidentiality, and comply with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.
• In-office, five days a week with Saturday rotation.
• Must work in-person at branch; cash handling and sales experience required.
• Experience in financial services or consumer lending is a plus.
• Education and experience may be substituted per internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and sell Credit Union services.
• Post deposits and process loan payments.
• Process monetary transactions and maintain account information.
• Perform Notary Services as required.
• Promote positive brand recognition for the Credit Union.
• Collaborate with branch managers to cross-sell products.
• Research member inquiries and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain awareness of all branch duties to provide coverage.
• Enforce internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Support teamwork and service excellence across branches.
