Job summary

Suvida Healthcare LLC seeks a Clinical Informatics Specialist to ensure accurate and efficient medical documentation during patient encounters. You will document histories, exams, tests, and plans in EHRs, enabling providers to focus more on patient care while upholding privacy and compliance.

The role requires English and Spanish fluency, at least 2 years of clinical experience, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is a plus.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and strong typing/tech skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in real time with accurate medical histories, examinations, tests, and plans.
• Input and manage patient data in EHR systems while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
• Review and organize patient charts for completeness and accuracy, addressing discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively between providers and team members to exchange information and follow-up instructions.
• Enter ICD-10 and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Support documentation queries with the coding team and providers.
• Prepare and research data for morning huddle to improve team discussions.
• Monitor quality metrics, identify gaps in care, and support population health initiatives.
• Stay updated on evidence-based medical protocols and share updates with the care team.
• Maintain strict patient privacy in line with HIPAA and other regulations.
