Texas Orthopedics, a division of OrthoLoneStar, is seeking a medical receptionist for the Kyle clinic. You will check in patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect payments in a fast-paced environment.

Required to be fluent in Spanish with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask across EMR systems and multiple phone lines. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish required.
• Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology recommended.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones, schedule appointments, and direct to appropriate departments.
• Verify insurance benefits and collect copays at time of service.
• Greet patients, check-in and complete intake forms.
• Collect payments and manage patient accounts in the EMR.
• Prepare schedules and balance daily deposits.
