Job summary

Family First Health is seeking a Bilingual Medical Receptionist for our Lebanon location. The ideal candidate will read, write, and speak English and Spanish to communicate with patients and complete required documentation within the electronic health record.

Responsibilities include greeting and registering patients, collecting demographics and insurance data, scheduling appointments, answering calls, and assisting with billing questions in a courteous, confidential manner.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with written and spoken proficiency.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA rules and patient confidentiality.
  • Experience with electronic health records (athenahealth) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and registers patients, collects demographics and insurance information in athenahealth.
  • Answers phones, routes calls, schedules appointments, and assists with front desk duties.
  • Maintains confidentiality and delivers excellent customer service while resolving issues.
  • Prepares for next-day appointments and assists with end-of-day tasks and cash handling.

Family First Health is seeking a Bilingual Medical Receptionist for our Lebanon location.This is a designated bilingual position, a qualified candidate should possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand both English and Spanish/other language sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position, including communicating directly with patients, accurately completing required documentation, and providing services in both languages without routine reliance on interpreter services to meet an operational need for patients and staff.Family First Health is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) that is accessible and community minded.
