Job summary

Children’s National Medical Center is seeking a Medical Interpreter to provide language interpretation to patients, families and staff in acute and chronic medical settings. Services may be in person, by telephone, or via video remote to support patient interactions across the hospital.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 1 year of interpreting in critical situations, bilingual with medical terminology proficiency, and a 40-hour Medical Interpreter Training Course

Qualifications

• Document interpretation assignments in required systems and databases.
