Affiliates of Family Medicine, P.A. in Spring, TX, is seeking an experienced bilingual Medical Receptionist to greet patients, check-in/out, schedule appointments, and manage front-office tasks in a busy family medicine practice.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, have medical front-office experience, insurance verification, and EMR familiarity (Epic preferred); strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous medical receptionist/front-office experience required.
• Experience verifying insurance benefits is required.
• EMR experience is required; Epic is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a warm, professional first impression.
• Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Process appointment requests by phone and electronically.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information.
• Manage patient paperwork and documentation within the EMR.
• Collect patient payments and perform other front-office financial duties.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area and office.
• Assist with other administrative and front-office duties as needed.
