The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, medical office experience, and fluent Spanish. Proficiency with EMR systems and strong multitasking in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology.
• Ability to multitask across multiple applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check in/out; collect payments.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments with insurance rules.
• Verify insurance benefits and collect copays.
• Scan/attach insurance cards and photo IDs; maintain records.
• Balance daily payments and prepare deposits.
• Manage faxes, referrals, and EMR entries; release of information when needed.
